Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

This website is operated by Jersey Wear Maldives ("Jersey Wear", "we", "us"), a custom jersey business in the Maldives. For any privacy question, email jerseywear.mv@gmail.com or contact us on Viber at +960 9714942.

2. Google and email sign-in

You can browse the website without an account. If you create an account, you can sign in with:

• Google — with your permission, Google shares your name, email address and profile picture with us. We do not receive your Google password and we do not access your Gmail, contacts, Drive or any other Google data.
• Email and password — your password is handled by our sign-in provider; we never see or store it in readable form.

We use this information only to identify your account and show your name and picture in the website. Signing in with Google does not give you a Club membership.

3. Account information

Your account may hold:

• your name, email address and, if you add it, your mobile number;
• your saved favourite designs;
• your Club membership status and New Jersey Alerts preferences;
• whether you agreed to receive marketing emails (we record your choice; we do not currently send marketing emails).

If you save favourites without signing in, they are kept only in your own browser.

4. Jersey Wear Club membership and payment receipts

When you apply for a Club membership, we store your application, membership status and the bank transfer receipt (payment slip) you upload. Receipts are kept in private storage that only the business owner can open, using short-lived secure links. We use receipts only to check your payment and approve or reject your membership.

We do not process card payments on this website and we do not store your bank card or online banking login details.

5. My Team profiles, logos and player rosters

Active Club members can create My Team profiles containing team names, colours, logos, preferences and kit lists (for example player names, numbers and sizes). Only you and the business owner can view your team profiles. Team logos are kept in private storage.

If you add other people's details (such as players' names), please make sure they are happy for you to share them with us. Team information is sent to us on Viber only when you choose to share it.

6. Quotation requests and contact details

When you prepare a quotation request, we save a copy with the contact details you enter (name, phone and, if provided, email, address, organisation, GST number, required date and notes) and the items you list. Only the business owner can read these copies. We use them to reply to you and prepare a quotation. To help prevent abuse, we keep a scrambled (hashed) form of your internet address with each request to limit how many can be sent.

7. AI Design Studio and Change Colors

When you use the AI Design Studio, the image you upload and the options you choose (such as colours and sleeve style) are sent to an AI image service to create a concept design. We do not keep your uploaded image after the design is created. The generated design is stored in private storage with a reference number, and the business owner can view it to help with your enquiry. We also record each generation, your account or a random browser ID, and a hashed form of your internet address so we can apply fair-use limits.

Colour changes made with Change Colors happen in your browser. If you save or share a colour preview, a copy is stored privately and can be opened by anyone with its link; these links stop working after 30 days. Optional AI-assisted colour previews are also sent to the AI image service. Our original design images are never changed.

Please do not upload images containing personal information you do not want processed.

8. Website analytics, cookies and browser storage

We count simple website events — page views, design views, shares, downloads, searches and Viber or call button taps — to understand which designs are popular. These counts are not linked to your name or account.

We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies. The website uses your browser's storage to keep you signed in, remember guest favourites, keep an unfinished quotation draft, and hold a random ID used for AI fair-use limits. Our hosting provider may also record basic visit statistics. You can clear this storage in your browser settings at any time; you may then need to sign in again.

9. Third-party services

We rely on these services to run the website:

• Lovable — hosts the website and provides our database, file storage, sign-in and AI image service. AI requests may be processed by Lovable's AI model providers.
• Google — provides "Sign in with Google" when you choose it.
• Viber — orders, quotations and enquiries continue in Viber when you tap a Viber button. Messages you send there are handled under Viber's own privacy policy.

We do not sell your personal information.

10. Data storage and security

Your information is stored with our hosting provider. Access rules on our database and file storage limit private information — receipts, AI concepts, team profiles, quotation copies and saved previews — to you (where applicable) and the business owner. Only the approved owner account can open the Owner Dashboard. No website can guarantee complete security, so please contact us straight away if you think your account has been misused.

11. How long we keep information

We keep account, membership, team and quotation information for as long as your account is active or as long as we need it to deal with your enquiries and orders, unless you ask us to delete it. Shared colour-preview links stop working after 30 days.

12. Accessing or deleting your information

You can see your account details on your Profile page. To request a copy of your information, a correction, or to have your account and related data deleted, email jerseywear.mv@gmail.com from the email address linked to your account. We may need to confirm your identity before acting on the request.

13. Children

Kids' jerseys are usually ordered by parents, teams or schools. If you add information about children (for example in a team roster), please make sure you are allowed to share it.

14. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when the website changes. The date at the top shows when it was last updated.
